Risk Disclosure

Trading crypto assets, forex, CFDs and futures carries a high risk of losing money. Cashback lowers your trading costs but cannot make losing trades profitable. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

1. Trading is high risk

Crypto assets, foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), futures and other leveraged products are complex and highly risky. Prices can move sharply and quickly, and you can lose all the money you deposit. Many brokers are required to publish the percentage of their retail clients who lose money trading CFDs; that figure is usually a large majority. Check it on the broker's own website before you open an account.

2. Leverage magnifies losses

With leverage a small price move against you can wipe out your margin and close your positions automatically (liquidation or stop-out). Depending on the platform, losses can exceed your initial deposit. Gaps, slippage and low liquidity can make orders fill at much worse prices than expected, especially around news and outside main trading hours.

3. Cashback does not make trading profitable

  • Cashback returns part of the fees you pay. It does not cover trading losses and does not change the risk of any trade.
  • Do not trade more to earn more cashback. Trading more often increases your total fees and your exposure to losses.
  • Cashback depends on the platform paying us. It can be delayed, reduced if the platform changes its terms, or reversed if the platform claws back commission.

4. Platform and counterparty risk

Your funds are held by the platform you trade with, not by RefundHub247. Many crypto exchanges and some brokers are based offshore and may not be licensed or supervised where you live. A platform can be hacked, become insolvent, freeze withdrawals, change its terms, close accounts or stop serving your country, and you may have no investor compensation scheme or deposit protection. Read each platform's terms and check its licensing yourself.

6. Crypto-specific risks

  • Crypto assets are highly volatile and can lose most or all of their value.
  • Crypto transfers are irreversible. Funds sent to a wrong address or network are usually lost.
  • Cashback payouts are made in USDT, a stablecoin. A stablecoin can lose its peg to the US dollar, and its issuer or network can fail or freeze tokens.

7. Our information is not advice

Fee comparisons, calculators, rankings, guides and the market analyses in the Market247 app are general information. 8. Taxes

Trading gains and cashback may be taxable where you live. Keep your own records and ask a tax adviser.

9. Before you trade

Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely, make sure you understand how the product works, and seek independent professional advice if you are unsure. If you have questions about this disclosure, contact us at [email protected].
