Every time you trade, the exchange or broker charges a fee: a percentage of the order value on a crypto exchange, or a spread plus commission per lot at a forex broker. A trading rebate gives part of that fee back to you. You pay the same fees as anyone else; the rebate is paid on top, after the trade.
Where the money comes from
Exchanges and brokers run partner (affiliate or IB) programs. When a trader signs up through a partner's link, the platform pays that partner a share of the fees the trader generates, for as long as the account is active. RefundHub247 is such a partner, and instead of keeping the whole commission, we pass most of it back to you.
- You open your account through the RefundHub247 link for that platform.
- You trade as usual and pay the platform's normal fees.
- The platform reports your trading activity to us and pays us the partner commission.
- We credit your share of that commission to your RefundHub247 balance, and you withdraw it when you like.
How the amount is calculated
On crypto exchanges the rebate is a percentage of the fees you paid. The exchange pays us a commission rate on your fees, and you receive your share of that commission. For example, Binance pays 30% of your fees and you get 50% of that, which is 15% of your fees back.
At forex brokers the rebate is a fixed amount per standard lot traded. With Exness you currently get $2.94 for each lot, whatever the trade's result.
A rebate is calculated on fees, not on profit. It is paid on winning and losing trades alike, which is why it matters most to active traders.
What it means for your cost
Because part of each fee comes back, your effective fee rate drops. A trader who pays $1,000 a month in exchange fees and gets 15% back saves $150.00 that month, with no change to how they trade. You can run your own numbers with the crypto rebate calculator or the forex rebate calculator.
Things to check
- The account must be opened through the partner link. Accounts opened without it are usually not eligible, though some platforms allow re-linking.
- Rebates follow the platform's partner report, so they appear after each report is imported, not the second a trade closes.
- Platforms can change their partner terms. The current rates are always shown on each platform's page and in the calculators.
