How exchange fees are calculated
- Each order pays a percentage of its value: the maker fee for limit orders that add liquidity, the taker fee for orders that fill at once.
- Fee = volume filled as maker × maker rate + volume filled as taker × taker rate.
- The table uses each exchange's standard (VIP 0) rate without token discounts. Higher VIP tiers and fee-token payments lower the rate.
